As a result of Hurricane Ian, disaster status has been declared in the Florida counties of: Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Hardee, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Orange, Osceola, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, and Seminole; and for economic injury only in the contiguous Florida counties of: Brevard, Broward, Highlands, Indian River, Lake, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Pasco, Sumter, and Volusia.
